BIO

Desiree Rios (b. 1991) is a Mexican-American photojournalist from Fort Worth, Texas. She received a Bachelor of Science in Photojournalism at St. John’s University and a Master of Fine Arts from the San Francisco Art Institute. Her personal work examines social justice, immigration and women’s issues. She was the 2022-2023 New York Times Photographer Fellow.

Rios is currently based in Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas and available for assignments.
